At just twelve years old, I started building Adirondack chairs with my dad in our garage. I knew then that this is what I wanted to do and I haven’t stopped since. I started Forged Woodworks in my parents’ garage before graduating from high school, working evenings and weekends building custom furniture. Upon graduation, I moved to a shared workspace and my parents couldn’t be happier to have their garage back. I worked alongside several other talented woodworkers and learned so much from them but quickly outgrew the space and needed a space of my own.
In March of 2019 I moved my workshop to Springfield, NE and opened a small storefront to showcase my handmade furniture including custom tables, desks and bookshelves. I offer several other items including hand-poured candles, soaps, and pottery — all handmade locally here in Nebraska.
I am proud to be a local maker and love working with my clients to bring their ideas to life. Please feel free to stop in or contact me if you are interested in a custom piece. I also ship if you are not lucky enough to live in Nebraska.
